Episode 114- Target Date Funds are Sabotaging Your Retirement
Target Date Funds are Sabotaging Your Retirement
A target date fund (TDF) is an investment portfolio that automatically adjusts to convert more and more to cash the closer it gets to a certain date, like 2040 or 2055.
TDFs are designed to help investors meet their retirement goals, but in this episode, I share why I used to invest in target date funds and got rid of ALL of them.
I share how my experience as a stock broker informs how I work with my money coaching clients and empower them to manage their own investments so they can become financially independent.
Target date funds are actually slowing down your early retirement plan rather than accelerating it.
