| My friend, Gema, shared the Pet Loss Companion podcast with me after he precious dog passed away at the vet unexpectedly. The podcast has helped her process grief, and it helped me with the anticipatory grief of rehoming Luna. As I was listening to it, I noticed they didn’t have episodes specifically on rehoming pets. There is a lot of stigma associated with it, so it makes since. So, I pitched myself to talk about Luna and they said yes! Pitching yourself is a huge part of entrepreneurship. I joined the Pet Loss Companion Podcast to talk about how I’ve processed the grief of rehoming Luna, and how she’s help me grieve the loss of my past self before I started drastically changing my health habits in order to navigate the worst chronic illness flare ups of my life. She taught/is teaching me so much about myself.
